Well, looks like a non game for the starters, as well as a win for the home team. Way to go late inning bats. As well as the Hebrew Hammer.

What to Watch
So the Brewers have some competition on the tube this evening. So I ask you, what are you watching? The Noodle-Armed Retiree toss 2 series, or a Power Drunk Nut Job and his merry band of pranksters?

WTF
Alright ladies, I am in to sports, but today is a sad one for me. Almost "Too Sad For Cake."
1) Why is it that whenever Derrick Turnbow comes into a game, I get nervous? Well, most likely it is because if he has a runner on, they eventually will score. I dont care if he allows a hit, or walks a runner on....They will probably cross the plate. Case in point, todays game. OK, he allows one hit. Fine. Good. Grand. But what does he do after that? Allows the next 3 hitters to reach. So you pull him when? Dont blame it on Villanueva. The guy is young and has taken his lumps. But also has a 6-2 record. I place the blame on the Neddster. Obviously, he has no idea when his pithcers are not on. It has been proven time and again. When you have a stable of relievers that cant pitch with runners on base, you are not looking that good.
2) Chopper pretty much sums it up. This guy lives in a fantasy world of craziness. "We are going to be better than last year." Lame Ass!!!! Good luck. You should consider yourself lucky that season tickets are sold out for the next 20 years. At least you have that going for you. The way Chopper puts it, I have to disagree with. They will be lucky to get 3 wins this season. Once again, no running back, oft injured first pick, and the only receiver worth anything(although not that much) is hurt. Good luck boys, because winning is a ways away.
3) International like.......The Tour De France is over. When will these people stop taking drugs that make you play better? The last 2 Americans to win are under serious scrutiny. Lame.

A million Theadore Ballgames
While surfing the Internets this evening, I came across this article. It pretty much says that scientists are developing ways for average or marginal athletes to play like superstars. Using football as one example, it says that some quarter backs move their eyes around the field at a faster rate. Causing them to make better decisions. I can think of one noodle-armed retiree that could use some of that action. Anyway, I have some questions for these people.
1) How many quarterbacks move their eyes to much, rendering them incapable of making the split second decisions necessary? One guy comes to mind, and another. It seems like something that is not trainable. I dont think that you can teach someone to not look at what they want.
2) What do you have to say about the great hitters in baseball? I doubt that the above mentioned Mr. Ballgame was looking anywhere but right in front of him while at the dish. A more recent example would be him, or him. Noticing pitch rotation cannot be taught, nor can vision be improved upon for timespans of less than 1 second.
3) What about Hockey? That is if there is still a pro Hockey league. What say you for the vast amounts of agility required to stand on tiny blades and skate? How can you quantify how good the great one was, or nowadays....well I cant think of any other hockey players. But you get the point.
To put it another way, here is a quote from the article.....

Noodle-Armed Retirees
So the Noodle-armed retiree is recanting his statements about being traded.....I will be the first to tell you that I wanted Favre to retire 3 or 4 years ago. If he did in fact want to be traded because Randy Moss did not become a member of the team, I said let him go. Dont let the door hit your a$$ on the way out. On the other hand, this guy has been doing his best to run the team into the ground with poor draft after poor draft. I dont suspect that Aaron Rodgers is the QB of the future either.
Then this morning, I saw this video. That guy looks OK, and Mr. Fumble-itis numbers from last year wont be hard to replace. Either way, I think that we will return to the un-glory years of the pack for a while.
At least we dont have this guy:
