You People are All the Same

Come on folks, is it the 1940's??? Is it so bad to learn a second language?? I am as anti as everyone about the recent administration's stance on immigrants. But for Fucks sake.....

On Tuesday in a Spanish-language class at Holy Family High School, a single handful of students used heated and inappropriate rhetoric in a discussion on immigration. In a class of approximately 30 students, fewer than six students voiced strong anti-immigration opinions. The remaining two-thirds of the class were silent or voiced support for immigrants. At the end of the discussion, one student inappropriately said "white power," two or three times. Most of the students in the class did not hear the comments. Contrary to media reports, there were no chants by more than one student. Two students, who were offended, asked to leave the classroom and were given permission to leave. However, the discussion ended when other students realized how these students were affected and all of the students remained until the end of class.

A grade school has banned children from playing Tag. They do not like the violence associated with a game like it. "It causes a lot of conflict on the playground."

What kind of happy hippie world Is this??? Isnt part of growing up supposed to have to do with conflict resolution? Apparently not....."School officials said the move encouraged more students to play games and helped reduce playground squabbles."

Here is the problem. The first comment was correct. Is there a doctor in the house, this man seems to be a trigger happy idiot. Yet still we go on to learn...

Is that an excuse??? Me thinks yes. Or is it?

As a matter of fact, it still is an excuse. What kind of, to use the vernacular, moron would do something like that?
Too be sure, the taser may be a non lethal asset to law enforcement. Anyone who knows me can tell you that personally I dont like police. I dont think I have ever met one who was civil. But there job is to protect me and that may be a tall order.
Anyway, back to the point....Where in your training does it tell you to do this? Snow.man, do you have some kind of a legal perspective? It doesnt say that this dude was a threat. Why tase him?
I dont think it matters that, to use the vernacular once again, the child has not suffered any damage.

Apparently, Richard Branson, head of Virgin(and whatever that entails) threw a glass of water over Stephan Colbert. I did not see it, as I was immersed in other things. For those of you that did, was it fake?

It seems that "Peace Mom" Cindy Sheehan is back at it. That is sad. It is time for people to stop reacting and start acing, but this woman is a boil on the state of things in my fair country.

And the losing is to keep going?

To be honest with you all, the crew is a good team. Young guys who are hungry, savvy vets who know what to do......But they do have problems on the road, and at home it seems. Is it not the purpose of a 162 game season to see what a team does in average? Although I will not be this guy when they make the playoffs, I will be this guy. Happy as a little girl, and I do not mean Brandon Walsh.
