Police in Milwaukee were called to a grocery store late Thursday night after witnesses said a 28-year-old Milwaukee man threatened to shoot employees.
The man left with 12 bottles of whiskey, two heads of lettuce and a digital thermometer, police said.
Officers identified a vehicle in a neighborhood nearby that matched the description given by store employees. The man was taken into custody before being positively identified from store surveillance video.
Employees said the man gestured as though he had a concealed gun when they approached him and told them he would shoot.
