Funniest thing I read this Morning

I just bought a Maserati and drove it into the harbor. Hey, a dolphin! I just bought the dolphin and rode it to shore.

This is from a recent post at Fire Joe Morgan.com. They are talking about Juan Pierre. But that is not important. The important part is that I probably woke up half of this quiet city neighborhood as I was laughing so hard.

In other baseball news, I had the opportunity to attend the coming out party of the Brewer's next great pitcher. Some good background information can be found here, and here. Not to play the kid down, because he did toss a pretty good game last night in his debut, thought the Nedster may have left him in there for a few too many pitches. AAA numbers can be deceiving for a pitcher. For the most part, this is because you are throwing against typical AAAA hitters, or those not quite good enough for the bigs.

Either way, he works pretty fast, throws in the low to mid 90s with consistancy, and has a sharp breaking ball. SO I say good luck, and hers to Neddy Ballgame not banishing him to the pen or wearing him out ala Mark Prior and Kerry Wood.
